We are totally stoked to enter this market after popular demand and have the ability to do it right. The "In XS" is a pure thoroughbred Viking 47 tournament proven sport fishing boat made for deep sea fishing enthusiasts. We are holding nothing back from this boat being all that she can be for all of our clients that demand the best of whats available in sport fishing.

The "In XS" started her career off in the late 90s as a winning tournament sport fishing boat in North Florida she was then called the "Data-Man". After a major refit and update of new engines and mechanicals she went into recreational service as the "Miss Adele" where she was used very lightly. When she was put up for sale in 2019 we secured her realizing her potential as a very nice Key West deep sea charter boat and put her through a mild refit of boat systems, safety and function making her one of the nicest, one of the fastest hopefully super fishy and very comfortable deep sea fishing boats in Key West.

Our goal was to provide anglers with the best boat we could find to fit the market here in Key West. Attention to detail in every way making the "In XS a boat folks wanted a chance to fish on.

We started with an extensive update to all her pumps, bells and whistles below decks to ensure her sea worthiness with all new hoses clamps and anything replaced that looked used. Above decks she was re outfitted with all new safety gear including EPIRB, fire extinguishers, commercial grade life jackets and updated flares. Garmin electronics are on the way for a complete refit of dual GPS, Auto pilot, Radar, 3000 watt Bottom machine and camera systems. Inside the salon she has all updated air conditioning systems keeping her cool and cozy with a full refrigerator, ice maker and stereo. On the floor we even got rid of the shag carpet and installed a high tech flooring called Aquatic with sound deadening making the salon quiet as possible while running and fishing keeping mechanical noises to a minimum.

Fishing Gear Compliment

Outfitting her with fishing gear was a blast. we outfitted the "In XS" in true Dream Catcher Charters fashion. She has a full compliment of Penn International fishing reels for trolling. 4 sets of 16s for sport trolling for dolphin, tuna, sailfish and kingfish. She also has 4 sets of 30 wides for heavy lifting for wahoo and marlin and a pair of 50 wides just in case for our tournament folks that need that extra assurance. Our reels are always loaded with new line and strapped to matching custom built Key Largo Rods. Always tournament rigged and ready we provide names like Ilander, Fathom Offshore and Black Barts for trolling lures.

For spinning reels we use the Daiwa Saltist and BGs for jigging reels and casting rods for working up school dolphin and yellowtail snappers on the reef are Daiwa Proteus. We also have Daiwa Saltiga 40 bottom fishing reels matched with Saltiga Rods for stops on the reef and wrecks to work up some tasty filet's of grouper and snapper. Then there is our deep drop rod selection of the DAIWA Saltiga bent but rod with a Seaborg 1200 12 volt electric reel for the deep stuff to hit golden tile fish, Blue line tiles, Black bellied rose fish and snowy grouper. To top it all off we have a Tanecom Bull 3000 for our sword fishing enthusiast to try their luck in the really deep waters for a tasty sword fish.

Our standard of fishing gear is not matched by anyone in the industry. We feel that if you are paying the big bucks to go fishing with us you deserve the best of the best in tools to fish with.

So far she has continued to be a fish raising machine with a blue marlin raised on each of her first two charters, our first blue marlin came in so close slashing at baits we thought he was going to hit us. She has done her job catching dozens of dolphin and mahi mahi with a few barracudas, bonitos and black fin tunas so far.

Speed Catches Fish!

Vikings are notorious for fast cruising speeds and high top ends. The "In XS" rolls out at a top speed of 33 Knots or 37.5 Mph and has a cruising speed of 24 knots or 27.6 Mph. From her dock at Oceans Edge Marina she is just 13 minutes from the drop off on the reef line South of Key West. Getting to the fishing quickly means more time fishing or longer ranges to get to the fish available for our guests.

"In XS" Fishing Charters

The "In XS" will be offered in 4, 6, and 8 hour deep sea fishing charters for up to 6 persons. She will include all the gear you can use for a day of fishing, bait, licenses and instruction and encouragement if needed.

Our guests will need to provide whatever they would like to drink or eat besides fresh water. We have a refrigerator to keep sandwiches cool.

Our days usually start off around 7:30 am or adjusted to fit the bite on 4 or 6 hour trips. With our speed we are able to get on it quickly and not waste a bunch of time running.

Mid Summer days (Mid June, July, August and September) we recommend at least a 6 hour day and 8 hour trips are best to get our guests into the Mahi Mahi / dolphin / marlin bite.

Fall, Winter and Spring time (October - June) our express 4 hour trip will be a perfect way to get your rod bent several times and still be back for lunch or dinner. 6 hour trips are always recommended here and 8 hour trips really allow us as your crew to get on the fish really well.

Oceans Edge Marina

Key West deep sea fishing is best at Oceans Edge Marina. The nicest deep sea fishing boats are found at this resort and marina dock. Just 8 minutes from anything in Key West.
