that leaves the dock with Dream Catchers name on it has
the latest in tackle and equipment on board. This is
what we call the tournament edge. There is no reason
that a client should come fishing with us
(professionals) and not get professional tournament
quality equipment to use every day, every time they fish
with us.
We have over 150 rods and reels rigged and ready to roll with an arsenal of 300 more to back them up. Needless to say there is neve an excuse for us not to have great gear for you from one day to the next.
Each one of the captains that
works for Dream Catcher Charters has gear provided for
him or her from our selection of rods and reels built
for the purpose.
Casting gear with spinning reels loaded with new braid or monofilament, depending on the use. Left and right hand reels for your needs as an angler to benifit you most throughout your day fishing with us.
From 4 lb test all the way up to reels that can handle up to 30 lb test we have it all. So, if you have any special requests, a fish you would like to target with ultra light line we can handle it.
We use only the best and have it here for you. Orvis, Sage, and G Loomis rods and reels. Top of the line all the way. New line every year. 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 wt rods with matching lines from Orvis Wonderline serries.
We use the Daiwa reels matched perfectly with great bottom fishing rods and braided line for our deep water fishing. The high retireve ratios makes bottom fishing more fun with less cranks to get back to the surface when fishing for those large grouper, mutton snapper and red snappers.
Trolling we use the Daiwa Saltiga lever drag reels for consistent smooth drags for trolling, kite fishing and live bait fishing for fee swimming fish such as dolphin, tuna, wahoo, sailfish and marlin.
 Electric reels have their place in our line up for really deep fishing or what we call Deep Dropping. Fishing in waters of 500 - 1500 ft deep we need the advantage of an electric reel to get the fish up without all the labor. Sounds like we are cheating but, it sure is fun.
For those that enjoy bait cast fishing for thier means of fishing we have bait casters to offer you while you are here to make you more at home. With All Star Premium rods and the finest bait casting reels available you will not be dissapointed.
