Come to Sunset Marina located the Gulf Side of Key West on Stock Island just 5 minutes from anything in Key West. There you will find a cozy little marina store for lunch or sundries and meet your flats fishing guide. As he assesses your day and loads the boat with you and your items he will tell you what he expects the day to hold.
Then off you go on one of our state of the art custom made flats fishing boats or Bay Fishing Boats Throughout the day your guide will instruct, guide you and explore with you as you glide along the flats of the Key West backcountry.
Sight fishing is the name of the game as your fishing guide points out a fish, you then make the cast based on his suggestions. Like a golf game your fishing guide is much like your caddy, he knows the lay of the course and can help you succeed in your game.
Using live bait, fly fishing or artificial spinning tackle its all good for fishing the flats of Key West and our fishing guides are specialists at all of it. We supply the gear or you can bring your own.
After you time with nature is done we start to head back to the dock with memories of the day as we speed past all the points where we fished remembering and taking note what to do next time. Once back at the dock we share stories of the ones that we saw, caught and of course no fishing story would be complete without the one that got away..
