You will come to Sunset Marina located the Gulf Side of Key West on Stock Island just 5 minutes from anything in Key West. There you will find a cozy little marina store for lunch or sundries and meet your flats fishing guide. Sight fishing is the name of the game as your fishing guide points out a fish, you then make the cast based on his suggestions. Like a golf game your fishing guide is much like your caddy, he knows the lay of the course and can help you succeed in your game.
Using live bait, fly fishing or artificial spinning tackle its all good for fishing the flats of Key West and our fishing guides are specialists at all of it. We supply the gear or you can bring your own.
After you time with nature is done we start to head back to the dock with memories of the day as we speed past all the points where we fished remembering and taking note what to do next time. Once back at the dock we share stories of the ones that we saw, caught and of course no fishing story would be complete without the one that got away..
Catch a Tarpon a Permit and a Bonefish all in one trip and you have the Key West Grand Slam. We know how to get you there and can instruct you on how to catch it. Every day we leave the dock we will always target at least three species.
We also offer fly fishing as well. We provide top quality fly fishing gear from G Loomis, Orvis and Sage to give you the best tools needed to go up against these fast running hard fighting fish. We also offer fly fishing lessons if needed to help you learn the sport or improve your game.

Not only are the big three a blast but you can also hunt for trout in the basins, redfish along the edges, large jacks are seemingly everywhere with huge barracudas sunning themselves ready to eat top water plug.
Find a mudding stingray and maybe there will be a cobia tailing off of him in the winter or a huge permit tailing off him.
Shark fishing on the flats is good all year round. We call it our "shallow water monsters trip" where we put you toe to toe and face to face with large sharks in less than 3 feet of water. Big fun for someone who wants to tangle with a fish that weighs as much as they do.
Bonefishing on the flats is incredible out of Key West in the fall and all year long. Many of our trips go into the double digits on bonefish.
Tarpon fishing in Key West is the best that is found anywhere. From late winter early spring right through summer we catch and release tarpon every day.

Cover up for the sun. Long sleeves on shirts and pants are good. Polarized glasses, Hat, sunscreen and lip stuff. A full head cover is not a bad idea especially for numerous days.
Your favorite fly rod if you are a fly fisherman although you are welcome to use ours.
