Here at Dream Catchers you will not find puffy chested fishing guides with a pampas attitude that you feel like you have to live up to their expectations like some that come out of high ended fly shops. Bring your own gear or use ours. We guarantee it to be the best money can buy. With names like Orvis, G Loomis, Sage, Redington and Abel. We update our fly lines each year and always have the newest fly patterns that are working here in our area. You cannot go wrong in both quality and service from our fishing gear.

Feel free to bring your own gear. We are happy to set it up for you and tell you what to bring. Ship your equipment to us via UPS or FEDEX and we will store it safely for you here in our office facility at our marina.

Inshore Fly Fishing

Flats fishing is the most common place to fly fish here in Key West. For the advanced skill set chasing the Key West Grand Slam of Tarpon, Permit and Bonefish all in one trip is a challenge that has defeated many and made those that have completed it a memory to last a lifetime. Outside of the Key West grand slam we have many other species of fish that are easy to catch on fly and a great target for all levels of beginners. Sure to be a fun day no matter what we fish for

Offshore Fly Fishing

We have lots of fun fly fishing offshore. Our 32 ft Yellowfin is an incredibly stable platform for the deeper water fly fishing enthusiast. Also a great place for beginners and seasoned pros the offshore fly fishing is a blast. Dolphin in the blue water during the summer. We have some fantastic yellowtail snapper fishing on the reef all year long. In the winter we have the best black fin tuna fishery found anywhere. Kingfish in the spring and mackerel all year are also a hoot fly fishing. So, as you can see, we have the game when it comes to fly fishing offshore of Key West, Florida.

Veteran Fly Fishing Guides

Capt. Steven Lamp, owner of Dream Catcher Charters has been guiding fly fishing clients to many grand slams on fly here on the Key West flats since 1994. Specializing in fly fishing for permit, bonefish and tarpon inshore and black fin tuna, Kingfish, yellowtail snapper and marcher offshore. Capt Steven is passionate about fishing.
