Established in 1958 in Newport Beach California AFTCO has been symbolic not only in fishing tackle but also in marine conservation efforts. Its great to see such a large company that gains so much from fishing put so much back into it to ensure the future of our sport.
We have really good friends at AFTCO and have helped them grow in promotion by recommending other fishing guides to the Family. Shorts
AFTCO original extra long fishing shorts. At Dream Catcher Charters these shorts are required by our fishing captains to wear day in and day out. Plier pocket and super strong nylon that seemingly does not get stained by anything make these shorts the best choice for us in fishing and being on the water every day.
Fish Ninja Shirt
The sun is not getting any easier on our skin out there on the water. Ninjas are the warriors when we think of stealthy and able to avoid detection. This Fish Ninja hooded shirt is awesome for both. total coverage with longer arms to cover the wrists. When flats fishing here in Key West this is the shirt we wear to keep our skin from being baked off our bodies. Made out of poly/spandex blend this shirt does not stink as bad after a long day of the heat and fishing.
Release Fishing Gloves
AFTCO hit this one out of the park. As fishing guides our hands get close to many things that could hurt us. The Release Fishing glove really gives us confidence to know we can get close and keep our digits. The ideal fishing gloves for leadering, grabbing a tarpon by the lip and just plain grabbing stuff. We also fillet our fish with these gloves to make sure we don't get cut. There is nothing like confidence knowing where you put your hands - Your safe.
